I've been trying to figure out lately why I tend to eat less on the days when my husband doesn't work, and more on the days when I'm home alone.

We always eat a high protein breakfast by 8:00 a.m. when he's home. That breakfast is generally so filling that we often just have a very small lunch, and then a normal-sized dinner.

When he's not at home, I'm more apt to be working, and putting off eating breakfast until later. But when I do eat, it's not as high in protein as it is when he's there. It's relatively small in protein. Lately, I've been returning to the kitchen again and again throughout the day and thinking there was something psychological going on.

But maybe not. I think I'm going to start eating the way I do on the weekends and see what happens.
Vickie Ewellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09933461203986015406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13260386.post-23205860195081391772012-12-31T21:54:02.067-06:002012-12-31T21:54:02.067-06:00Brutal. You do NOT need carbs in order to live an active lifestyle. I agree that veggies (not necessarily fruit) should be a part of most peoples diets since few people eat organ meats and varied sea foods.
Fred Hahnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01287565594918201935noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13260386.post-23300569459517024892012-12-28T03:30:48.044-06:002012-12-28T03:30:48.044-06:00I think so.I think so.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06505549254091703762noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13260386.post-87368114310218031382012-12-27T21:20:29.253-06:002012-12-27T21:20:29.253-06:00*Never* a bad time to call out Jimmy's shenani...*Never* a bad time to call out Jimmy's shenanigans.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13260386.post-65734321428499333592012-12-27T18:52:43.718-06:002012-12-27T18:52:43.718-06:00For weight loss etc your protein most important to...For weight loss etc your protein most important to work out then fat and carbs according to Alan Aragon:
http://www.livestrong.com/article/553149-healthy-eating-101-improve-your-fat-loss-and-muscle-gain/

"Hitting your goal for the day is the most important aspect of eating protein, whether it’s for fat loss, building muscle, or just maintaining your weight."
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06505549254091703762noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13260386.post-84888138813463743492012-12-27T17:45:28.611-06:002012-12-27T17:45:28.611-06:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06505549254091703762noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13260386.post-2740173164551487952012-12-27T16:47:09.577-06:002012-12-27T16:47:09.577-06:00Probably why so many also have success on a Paleo/...Probably why so many also have success on a Paleo/Primal diet, lots of quality protein.Primal Womanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15084974290524631105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13260386.post-67221957422027713632012-12-27T14:00:13.757-06:002012-12-27T14:00:13.757-06:00I just read the PDF of the paper. What would cause an otherwise intelligent person to eat more than they need?
