If you've ever wanted to learn more about the research data that supports low-carb and controlled-carb dietary approaches for weight-loss and health, here's your chance - the Nutrition & Metabolism Society's conference on the Metabolic and Nutritional Aspects of Carbohydrate Restriction, January 20-22, 2006 in Brooklyn, New York.
The three-day conference will present research and data from dozens of researchers from around the world, including Eric Westman, Jeff Volek, Manny Noakes, Mary C. Vernon, Donald Layman, Mary C. The program is divided into various categories to explore the data available: Obesity, Control of Metabolism, Animal Models, Diabetes, Genetics, Insulin Resistance, Cardiovascular Disease, Lipids, Exercise and Efficacy and Thermogenesis.
