Life here remains hectic and crazy! I do apologize for my scant posts in the last couple of weeks...and hope to catch up with everything this weekend and resume my regular posting schedule Monday.
In the meantime, I'd like to share with my readers today's podcast at Jimmy Moore's site; it's an interview with my husband, Dr. Gil Wilshire, MD FACOG! Jimmy and Gil discuss his practice, PCOS, obesity and infertility. I hope you'll take a few minutes to listen in!

FABULOUS podcast. I have PCOS and it took me 9 YEARS to conceive. I did end up with follicle drilling. Was able to FINALLY "create" two fully developed eggs, one took and I had a beautiful daughter (of whom I "blessed" with PCOS as well BLAH). Anyways, we all eat a low-carb diet now - she's lost almost 50lbs (would like to lose another 20lbs - she's in a size 14 now), through Metformin therapy and the low-carb diet. But she says she doesn't feel she's dieting at all, just eating healthy and SATISFYING foods!!
ReplyDeleteNo one knew to give me Metformin when I was trying to conceive. I wish they had. But the whole baby making thing is in my past now!
Glad to hear your hubby is actually going about it CORRECTLY!! Thanks again for the great blog - we sure miss you but understand what being busy means!!
